That which is First = Agaram.
"Agara, Agaramaalya, Agaramangudi Agasthiyam" Siddha Insights on this First Day

That which is
first is known as Agaram.

The
first letter of the alphabets of both Divine Tamil and Divine Sanskrit is the "a" sound known as Agaram.

The Veda scriptures are also referred to as Agaram since they are the
first amongst scriptures.

He who is
first amongst Siddhas and rishis is Agasthiar.

The
first among stars is the Agasthiar Star, referred to as Canopus in Western Astronomy.

The
first among grasses is the Agasthia Dharbha Grass found in the Kanjathu Malai sacred space (near Pudukottai - Ponamaravathi - Poolankurichi) and in Kasi Varanasi. (Kanjaathu Malai is a wonderful "tharpana shakti" sacred space as we have mentioned several times in our publications.)

The
first among greens is Agathi-Keerai.

The
first among beings is the cow and hence it is known as "aa" in divine Tamil.

The giving of Agathi-Keerai (the
first among greens) to cows, (the
first among beings), is a wonderful Siddha solution for solving many problems arising from the bad karma of previous births, said Sathguru Venkataraman.
So on this first day of the 2015 Karthigai Deepam, the first place is given to the "a" sound (the first among sounds) in our Siddha system.
